Today I was introduced to Posterior Tibial Tendon disorder or Foot Arch tendinitis. While on an 11 mile run I began to feel pain around my ankles then on the side of my arch. This happened around mile 8 and I limped/ran on my toes for the 3 remaining miles. I’m not sure I should have done that but there ‘s something mental about not meeting my mileage for me that kept me going. Bad idea I guess. So I have a half marathon in a week and I am in recovery mode until then. KT tape to relieve tension, stem treatments, ice and foam roller massages..
